At Latymer Learning, we provide more than tuition — we offer regulated childcare with an educational focus.

Registered with Ofsted on the Voluntary Childcare Register, our centre follows the same safeguarding, safety, and welfare standards as other childcare settings, giving parents complete confidence in the quality of care their children receive.

 

Our environment is designed to help children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn. Every child follows a personalised study plan designed and overseen by our lead tutor, with sessions in Maths, English, and Science.

Children work through structured worksheet activities that promote independent thinking while ensuring individual guidance and supervision are always available.

 

Tutor-led learning

Our main tutor provides direct teaching and ongoing assessment, adapting materials and pacing to each child’s ability.
We use carefully designed worksheets that follow the national curriculum and build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and scientific understanding.
Every activity has a clear purpose — to help children master skills progressively while enjoying the process.

 

Safe and supportive childcare

Because we are Ofsted-registered, every session is conducted under childcare standards:

• Continuous supervision at all times

• Clear safeguarding and behaviour policies

• Secure sign-in and collection procedures

• Parent communication about progress and wellbeing

Our team

Led by Farhana Haque — Ofsted-Registered Childcare & Learning Provider

 

Latymer Learning is owned and led by Farhana Haque, a qualified tutor and Ofsted-registered sole trader with over 15 years of experience in education and childcare. Farhana personally oversees every aspect of the centre — from planning lessons and assessing progress to ensuring that each child learns in a safe, caring, and structured environment.

 

Our tutors and assistants are DBS-checked, trained in safeguarding and paediatric first aid, and chosen for their ability to support both the academic and emotional development of every child.

We combine the discipline of education with the warmth of childcare — helping children build confidence, focus, and a positive attitude to learning.
